What is the practice all about?
Personal Endocrine P.C. is a Direct Care Endocrinology practice. We treat general endocrine conditions including diabetes, obesity, thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, menopause, hypogonadism, osteoporosis.
Do you accept insurance? Are you “in network” with any insurance plans?
We do not participate with any insurance plan.
Our practice focuses on the well-being of the patient over insurance-driven, rushed care. As a physician, I believe that high-quality care begins with time spent to understand the patient’s concerns and the disease.
Please note that Dr. Choi is opted out of Medicare. Our services will be billed directly to you and cannot be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
Is this a concierge practice?
We offer a concierge level of care within a direct specialty care (DSC) model, making high-quality healthcare accessible. Unlike traditional concierge practices that bill your insurance and require copays on top of a membership fee, our DSC model eliminates these additional costs.

What happens to my care when Dr. Choi goes on vacation?
Personal Endocrine team will be available to receive emails and portal messages, and respond promptly as usual. Dr. Choi will be able to order labs, send prescriptions and respond to messages.
